Game, set, The Match.

Live updates, highlights from The Match 2023 featuring NFL, NBA stars

The NBA and NFL are set to clash as some of basketball's best take on the Super Bowl champions. And Vegas is once again the place to be as it continues to solidify itself as the center of the sports world.

It's Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson vs. Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce in the desert for bragging rights — and charity.

Curry and Thompson have been dubbed the "Splash Brothers" after many years with the Warriors, but they'll want to refrain from claiming that title on Thursday. The Warriors season ended with a whimper after they fell in six games to the Lakers — ending their hopes to repeat as champions.

In the other golf cart, there's Mahomes and Kelce, who have been enjoying every chance to celebrate their second Super Bowl victory after a thrilling win over the Eagles.

The duos will be in unfamiliar places compared to their colleagues in each sport — the golf course. All of them are familiar with long playoff runs, which makes Thursday's event even more intriguing. Curry and Mahomes have tested their luck in The Match before and neither left victorious. One of them will be this time around.
