One of the most recognizable names in music, Bad Bunny has become a true icon within the entertainment world. The Puerto Rican star, real name Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, brings people together with his music.

Known for making Latin trap and Reggaeton, Bad Bunny has won numerous awards. His 2020 album, YHLQMDLG, became the first all-Spanish-language album to reach number one on the Billboard 200, and in 2022 it earned the accolade of the world's best-selling album.

Outside of music, Bad Bunny is a big pro wrestling fan and even held gold for WWE at one point. He will enter the squared circle when he faces Damian Priest in a street fight at Backlash on May 6. That is in Puerto Rico, an event he will also be the guest host for.

The Sporting News now looks into where Bad Bunny stands among the wealthiest and most influential entertainers.

Bad Bunny’s WWE history

Bad Bunny began appearing in WWE in 2021, performing music for wrestlers. That same year, he won the 24/7 Title with the help of Priest. At WrestleMania 37, Bad Bunny teamed with Priest to take on and beat The Miz and John Morrison.

It wasn't until 2022 that he returned to the ring, entering the Royal Rumble that January. Bad Bunny interfered in Rey Mysterio’s match against his son Dominik at WrestleMania 39, preventing Dominik from cheating.

On the Raw after WrestleMania, Priest attacked Bad Bunny, putting him through an announcer's table. The latter returned a few weeks later and challenged Priest to a street fight while attacking him with a kendo stick.
