One of the busiest combat sports weekends of the year will feature title fights, grudge matches, and celebrities competing for revenge.

Canelo Alvarez returns to action on May 6 against John Ryder. The undisputed super middleweight champion competes in Mexico for the first time in over a decade, and this is Canelo's first bout since undergoing wrist surgery.

Canelo’s fight will air on DAZN PPV in the U.S.

Not only will we see the return of Canelo, but Henry Cejudo re-enters the octagon after retiring in 2020. “Triple C” faces Aljamain Sterling at UFC 288 for the latter’s UFC bantamweight title.

A former bantamweight and flyweight champion, Cejudo is ready to continue where he started. Sterling wants to prove to all doubters he is a dominant champion. Something has got to give inside New Jersey’s Prudential Center. UFC 288 airs on ESPN+ PPV in the U.S.

Finally, WWE will head to Puerto Rico for the first time since 2005 for its Backlash event. The main event will be Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar in a first-time matchup. Also set to compete will be music sensation Bad Bunny fighting Damian Priest in a Street Fight.

Here's a breakdown of the times of several key events taking place on May 6, and if they are competing against one another.
