Day 1 of the 2023 NHL free agency has come and gone, and a number of big-name free agents remain on the market.
Some of the top names were taken off the board Saturday: Ryan O'Reilly signed a four-year contract with the Predators, Dmitry Orlov took a two-year deal to join the Hurricanes, and goalies Tristan Jarry and Frederik Andersen received new deals from the Penguins and Hurricanes, respectively.
On Sunday, a few more players were signed, including both Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi signing with the Leafs.
As the first weekend of the offseason concludes, there are still plenty of players looking for clubs to join, including two of the best wingers available.

Here is a look at the best players still available in 2023 NHL free agency.
NHL free agency 2023: Best players still available after Day 1
Vladimir Tarasenko
Tarasenko reportedly is mulling his options for joining a contender. Injuries have hurt the Russian winger's production since he won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019; last year's resurgence may have been an outlier. But Tarasenko is still a certified sniper at 31.
Patrick Kane
It may be some time before Kane makes his decision. The American winger is testing the market for the first time just a few months after his era with the Blackhawks ended. Kane's days of dominance are behind him, but he's still one of the best passers and stick handlers in the league. His defensive issues are well-known, but there is still the upside on offense when he is on. The biggest concern is the offseason surgery that will require four to six months of recovery.
NHL FREE AGENCY GRADES 2023: Analysis of every signing, trade
Matt Dumba
With Dmitry Orlov signing with the Hurricanes, Dumba is the best defenseman still available. He had his worst season in terms of scoring, with just 14 points in 79 contests, but there still should be plenty of appeal for a 28-year-old, top-four defender who never shies away from laying the body.
Patrice Bergeron
The waiting game with Bergeron is different than most of the other players on this list. Fans aren't watching to see which team the Bruins captain signs with; they are awaiting to hear whether he is retiring. It will either be a new deal to run it back with Boston, or the six-time Selke winner hanging up the skates for good.

David Krejci
Like Bergeron, the wait with Krejci isn't about which NHL club he'll play for next season. It's whether he gets a new deal with the Bruins, returns to the Czech Republic to play in his home country, or retires. The 37-year-old isn't what he used to be, but he still could be the Bruins' No. 2 center if he returns.
Jonathan Toews
Similar to his longtime Blackhawks teammate Kane, Toews may take some time before signing. Chicago previously announced that it would not be bringing back its captain for the 2023-24 season. There are health issues that leave Toews' playing career in doubt, but if he does keep playing, he's elite on faceoffs and could provide defensive stability in a lesser role.
