We now know how tall Victor Wembanyama actually is.

It was unclear going into the 2023 NBA Draft, but Wembanyama has been officially measured since the Spurs selected him with the No. 1 overall pick. San Antonio announced that he is 7-3.5 without shoes and listed him at 7-3 on the team's Summer League roster.

Wembanyama's size and skill make him one of the most unique prospects the NBA has ever seen. Not only can he protect the rim and roll to the basket like a center, but he's also capable of spacing the floor out to the 3-point line and creating shots for himself like a guard or forward. If he can stay healthy, he has all the makings of a superstar.

Given his age, it's not crazy to think that Wembanyama might not even be done growing, which is pretty wild considering he's already one of the tallest players in NBA history.

How Victor Wembanyama compares to the tallest players in NBA history

At 7-7, Gheorghe Muresan and Manute Bol are the tallest players to ever step foot on an NBA court.

Not far behind Muresan and Bol are Shawn Bradley, Tacko Fall and Yao Ming, each of whom is listed at 7-6. Fall is the most recent of the trio to have played in the NBA, appearing in 37 games for the Celtics and Cavaliers between 2019-22.

The tallest player in the NBA currently is Boban Marjanovic. He is listed at 7-4 on NBA.com and 7-3 on Basketball Reference. Based on the NBA's measurement, that would make Wembanyama the second-tallest player in the NBA today behind Marjanovic.
