Considered one of the biggest stars in pro wrestling history, Hulk Hogan helped shape the sport into the juggernaut it is today.

Hogan and the Rock 'n' Wrestling boom made wrestling one of the hottest sports entities. WrestleMania and Hulkamania ran wild in WWE during the 80s, while the New World Order made pro wrestling edgy and profitable in the 90s.

If you ask any wrestler, many would say Hogan inspired them to put on a pair of boots. While he had controversies outside of the ring, his impact on the sport, positive and negative, will live on forever.

Hogan's featured in the second episode of season two of Rich and Shameless. Airing on TNT, the series “tells the true stories of the successes, failures, thrills, and miseries that accompany wealth in the world of sport.” The episode on May 17 will feature the saga surrounding Hogan’s fight against the media blog Gawker.

You can stream Rich & Shameless on Sling TV, now offering new subscribers 50% off their first month.
