The NASCAR Cup Series goes from one metropolis to another this week, trading the Windy City for the A.

Atlanta is a hub of culture. From OutKast to Young Nudy, various wordsmiths have come from its shores. And although the Cup Series' reputation doesn't quite match up to the city's hip hop lineage, it has produced good memories under the Georgia sun.

Chase Elliott enjoyed a little home cooking this time last year, holding off the field — especially Ross Chastain — to pick up the win. The Georgia native could use a similar outing this time around. He finished third in last week's Grant Park 220 on the Chicago street course, but he's still in desperate need of a win to lock in a playoff berth.

What better place to do it than at his hometown track?
