Jayson Tatum injury update: Celtics star rolls ankle in Game 7 vs. Heat

The suspense was killer ahead of Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Heat and Celtics.

But eyes were only trained on Jayson Tatum after the first possession of the night. The 6-8 Boston superstar appeared to suffer a nasty ankle injury.

Regardless, he remains in the game.

Jayson Tatum injury update

Tatum rolled his left ankle on the first play of the game when he drove to the basket and landed on the foot of Miami's Gabe Vincent.

He remained in the game and posted a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds through three quarters. However, the Celtics trailed 76-66 heading into the final frame.
