Bayou Barbie has been strutting her stuff on the big stage.
Angel Reese came into college the No. 2-ranked player in her recruiting class. In her first year at LSU after transferring from Maryland, she's proving the hype was more than warranted, putting up Shaq-like numbers on the court and establishing a presence off it.
It bears asking, then: Just when can hoop fans expect to see Reese in the W? She looks a lock to be a top-three pick when that day comes. It's just a matter of time.
Here's what you need to know about Reese's WNBA Draft eligibility.

When will Angel Reese go to the WNBA?
Bayou Barbie has a pro-like following across her various social media channels. She'll need to wait a bit longer to do the real thing, though.
Reese won't be eligible for the WNBA Draft until 2024. If she were to enter her name into draft consideration next year, she'd be far from the only big name involved.
She could spearhead a loaded 2024 class, with superstars Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers, Cameron Brink and Hailey Van Lith all on track to go pro next year.
Reese has always had her sights set on the W. It was a major motivating factor in her deciding to transfer to LSU from Maryland last summer.

"I knew that I wanted to develop into that stretch-four player, so being able to do that and play under a coach that could help me get to that level — because I know I’m not going to play the five at the next level," Reese told Just Women Sports' Lydnsey D'Arcangelo. "I know I'm not going to be sitting down in the post. I mean, there are way bigger players than me in the WNBA, so I know that I would have to play that stretch four position."
Still, the allure of playing in Baton Rouge — and in front of the raucous Tigers faithful — could make for a difficult decision for the All-American.
"Coming to a school where they love women’s basketball and respect it the same as the men is great," Reese told Andscape's Jerry Bembry. "To get that, you have to win. Coach (Kim) Mulkey has come in with all these recruits, freshmen and transfers, and we’ve won. When you win, you grab everybody’s attention."
