Phoenix Mercury star Brittney Griner exited Tuesday night's 83-69 loss to the Seattle Storm, taking no part in the second half.
Griner suffered a hip injury in the first half and was shortly after ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Griner appeared to suffer the injury in the first quarter and left the floor with 6:02 remaining in the second quarter. She returned to the bench early in the second half, before being ruled out for the game.
She played just nine minutes in the first half, finishing with two points and two rebounds on 1-of-5 shooting.
Griner has played in every game so far this season and entered Tuesday night's contest at Footprint Center averaging 22.7 points and 7.1 rebounds on 64.8 percent from the field.
Following tonight's loss, the Mercury are now 2-6 on the season and 1-3 at home.
During her postgame interview, Mercury head coach Vanessa Nygaard said the team had not yet received any evaluation on Griner's injury.
