It is a measure of Novak Djokovic's brilliance and longevity that the seven-time Wimbledon champion remains by far the highest earner in tennis history, a status he only looks set to further cement as he returns to SW19.

Djokovic's much-publicised visa fiasco eventually ruled him out of the 2022 Australian Open and he missed the US Open at the end of last year on account of vaccination status not meeting coronavirus entry requirements for the country.

However, the 36-year-old has left no doubt over his enduring pre-eminence by storming to victory in the first two Grand Slams of 2023, ensuring he is in prime form for the defence of his Wimbledon crown and the pursuit of a record-extending 24th major title.

Having firmly established himself as one of the best-paid athletes ever, The Sporting News has taken a look at just how much money he's made in his record-setting career so far.
